I've at least gotten a bunch of IRL things taken care of, and I've upgraded my computer so that there's hopefully not gonna be anymore freeze-crashes and whatnot. Anyway, like I said, I had people over for the majority of the week, so didn't really get a whole lot done. Returning to HHHW stuff today, I barely even know where I left off last time. Something about lipsyncing, I'm pretty sure.

I actually did get to finishing up that comic thing for EX though!

It is however not the reason I am late with the update today. I just woke up feeling somewhat dead, so I didn't really have the brainpower to collect my thoughts and post something. Did however sketch up something fun that was commissioned of me.

Sorry for skipping updating last sunday. I was refurnishing and I broke my mouse in the process. So I didn't feel like doing anything complicated while being without it. And when I did get it, I thought it was best just to wait it out. Huff. That's my procastinating mind at its best.

Well, I finally finished all of the commissions I had taken on. Now I'm totally spent on drawing, so I'll probably get back to doing some flash stuff again now. Egh. But, here they are:

It's been a surprisingly long week for me. I spent like 3½ days sitting the cats, but it still feels like I made good progress on ZZZZ. When I got back from the sitting I got a sudden spurt of motivation that I've lacked for quite some time now! I found that listening to sound books while doing flash stuff also helps me getting less distracted, so I'mma gonna get me some more of those, ye ye.

Anyway, things that are showable has been made! Some, at least!

While I was sitting the cats, I doodled a little. This Sofi Tentacle Sketch came out rather well, so I cut it out and here it is. The worst part was when I got home and wanted to draw continuation of Zu's Reindeer set I couldn't make anything look like how I wanted it to when I actually tried. Quite frustrating. I brute forced myself through it today though and made a rather promising looking sketch. I'll see if I can finish it and the next Reindeer picture by next week!

I also managed to make an additional Beleth image, now with clothes!
Clothed Beleth. Pretty neat, ya? Just a reminder as well, Beleth is Pyreaus' character, not mine.

Sorry for the downtime and the late update... There was some trouble with the server and shits.

Today, I have a few things to share.

First up is a picture I've drawn in MS Paint.
It's most of the Touhou characters in the Windows series!
That's all I have finished this week...

So that means, it's time for new fan stuff!

But it is now temporary OK, as we managed to borrow some serverstuff from T_4.

Seriously though, our MYSQL thingy died and it has been awful. From what I heard, no one knows yet how to fix it, so that's kinda shit.

Anyhow, I will take some time and update later, when I can sort out all teh stuff I've made while on vacation and during the downtime.

So uhm... Yeah.
I must go to bed now, I'll get a real update done tomorrow.

Was gonna write an update this morning, but I did some work on the game and forgot to do it. I finished the task and now I'm typing though!

Let's see, what happened since last week's update? I finished Jo's lipsync for the time being and transcribed all of her voicelines into text for the subtitles.

Added an experimental option; Mascara trails.



As you can see, it's kinda difficult to line up, since their eyes change shape so much! I'm not sure if I should keep this in or not yet.


I still have Sofi stuff to lipsync and subtitle, which I'll do as soon as I get the last voice clips from her VA, should get 'em today.
Other than that, I don't really think there's... All that much left to do? At least, if we're doing the baby update separately. Which is probably what I'm gonna aim for. Fallow's going on a little break for two weeks in december, so if we don't manage to push out an update by then, I might be able to make some more progress on the baby stuff during that time. A lot of it is mainly coding stuff though, so I guess we'll see. Aiming for the baby update to come next, at least.

I'll know more by next week, obviously.

I'm starting today's update with a few late stragglers for the Halloween comp!

Here's Bibimission's submission to the Halloween comp, that unfortunately wound up in my junk mail, so I never noticed it.
Sofi and the Werewolf
I feel truly sorry for this, next time I'll make it clear how and where to send the submissions so that this won't happen again.
It's a good piece though, I really like the feral look of the werewolf, you usually see the more human-like types rather than this ripped wolf version. (Forgot Sofi's tail, though!)

Next is The Great Avv's submission, that got delayed due to computer problems.
Sex with Zu please please please
He's not feeling too confident in his lewd art, so make sure to give him a confidence boost! I think it looks great.

I bet you're interested in hearing who won, ya? Well, here are the results!

First place: SyncedUp!

The creative slime monster, the details and hint of lore impressed all of the judges.

Second place: Jessie!

The dark moody atmosphere and Sofi's great costume and expressions made this piece climb all the way up to second place.

Third place: Cinndrie!

While this piece wasn't completely finished, the concept and art was the most horrifying submissions of them all. If it was finished on time, it probably would have snatched first place.
This wasn't posted in the batch, because Cinndrie wanted to finish the piece before uploading it, but here's the version that was submissed!

This was fun, although I clearly need to make some improvements for the next contest, if we have one. I kinda need to know how many plan on participating, and there needs to be a good way to submit pieces where I won't miss them.


So, what's next in terms of HHHW? Well, I'm thinking I should really give Zara's part an overhaul. It's kinda pathetic and boring in comparison to Sofi and Zu&Jo's parts. Plus, I wanna make it make sense in the story mode. Planning for Zara's part and making some improvements to Zu&Jo, implementing the new horse skin for Sofi's part is what I'll be doing next. Hard to decide where to begin though. Perhaps we'll see the return of semi regular streams again!

Anyway, for now I'm finishing up Rock n' Raz 17. Expect it by the next update, 'cause I'm just about done with the main animation and I just have to add lipsync after that. Shouldn't take too long, I hope.

Oh, and before I forget, I'm interested in knowing what cosmetic options you guys like to use for Zu&Jo, things like the body stickers and headband and snout options for Jo. Are there any stickers you feel are missing that would make things hotter or some such? I'm taking suggestions for stickers to add in the update I'm gonna make.

There's actually snow here in december for once, and it hasn't melted away... yet. Maybe this'll be a rare year where the snows stays all thorough the holiday season?! I would like that.

Well, I've used this downtime to catch up on commissions and art trades n' stuff. I'm waiting for reply for the last option on the list to actually get that commission going... In the meantime, doing requests, trades and gift art that've been piling up as well. It never ends.
I've been told that Sofi voice clips should arrive sometime this week. So once I get those, I'll be returning to set that up along with other small bullshit stuff that needs to be done.
