Oh yes, I've been working on Zu Triple this week, it's going slow because I want it to look as good as possible, and it's really tiring D: I've finished "Slow" & "Fast", and shall start on "Faster" today.

uuh... I'm also waiting for the voiceacting girl to record & send "voices" to me. It will make me more motivated to work on it, I hope, because I've been very unmotivated for a long time....
It's mostly because I always get new ideas, but I can't make them because I have to work on Zu Triple D:

Hello! Today, I finally have some pictures to show!

But first:

Next; have some pictures. My dads computer broke, so I had to hook the scanner up to my computer and use some shitty scanning program, so the quality is kinda bad. Should still be watchable though.

Zu now has around 80 different eye expressions. Neat, huh?

I'm not completely done with them yet, I have to do some eyebrow work and make some blinking frames, but that's not very troublesome. I'm not sure if I should proceed with Johanna's eyes after this or work on the mouth. But I think doing Jo's eyes first would make most sense.

Also, play testing and tweaking is being done with Sofi's part. There are so many things that need to be fixed, but we're making progress at least. The worst thing about this currently is an ugly aliasing issue. Hopefully we can get rid of all that stuff eventually.

There are still some things that are missing in this build, which will probably be added down another demo further down the line. Just trying to make this playable as it is is a challenge already! Always find something that's not working as intended or needs to be tweaked this way or that way.
But I gotta say, Sofi's face looks sooo much better, and she's way more expressive and talkative and customizable.
I'm not used to having so many customization options for my projects, so I find it fun to just play around with it. Hoahoa.


By next week, I'm aiming to have finished up that comic page I've been talking about previously and Sofi's new ref.

I had a lot of fun at the playdate! But before I start talking about that, let me answer some questions that were brought up...

The christmas is not canceled, it's in progress of being coded by a new man now. So don't worry, it will be made, I will see it will. As for the Ellie flash, I shall try to finish it in time for Ellie's birthday, May 11. Wish me luck. I doubt I can do it, but it's a goal to strive for.

I recieved fan art of a sexy Zu, doing sexy things! The artist wishes to be anonymous~.

Anyway, I had great fun at the playdate! I'll put up some noteworthy photos of us...

We played Mario Kart 8 demo, it played neatly.


We met Mario's voice too. I didn't meet him personally, because I was too shy, but I was next to the guy next to him in this photo! He later talked about his experiences with voice acting in video games. He's a real funny guy, and his voicework is really impressive. He showed off a whole bunch of different ones.


We played a lot of Mario Power Tennis. I played Fly Guy, but I prefer Shy Guy.


No playdate is complete without some good ol' butrape.


Raz's "I made a Hole-in-One in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour" face. Speaking of which, I managed to score a hole in one on the last hole on the Sea Side Course on the new Mario Golf for the 3DS. I never played the course before, so I'm sure I made a similiar face.


Then it was time to go home.

Sorry for being late again. The combination of trying to change my sleep schedule, dealing with a attention seeking cat and having my sister around left me being either too tired or too busy to write an update. But now here I am, typin'!

Right now, I and Fallow are trying to get the Sofi part out for a second beta release! There's loads of bugs and tweaks that we need to fix up, but we're hoping to have one ready in a week or two maybe!

Been too busy to draw stuff again, but I've recieved a piece of fan art this week too!

Who died, you might wonder? My grandfather. In retrospect, I don't think I've got anything negative to say about him, and that's quite an uncommon thing to say for me. Always happy and nice, even knew how to use a computer regurarly. He passed away in his sleep, and he seemed to have a feeling that his time was up the last time.
Him passing away wasn't so hard on me, since it was a natural death. Dealing with other people during the funeral was the most difficult part for an asspie like myself. Augh.

Anyway, moving on.

I've been up late to finish another Ellie outfit for you. This time it's Ellie's Painting Outfit.
Quite a change from the previous painting outfit, if any of you remembers that.

I've also finished up Sixten's bio, finally! He's been in need of an update for a long time. But his wait has been worth it, because now he feels like a real character!

I'm also going back and touching up the other character bios with the help of a friend, fixing the flow, ironing out more grammatical errors and adding details and information where that is needed. So far, we've touched up Zu.

Meanwhile, Aisha and friends have moved on from Zu onto Ellie.

The move went pretty smooth. I don't have any chairs though... So I can't really sit down and work on anything yet. There are still some things that needs to be done, but most have been done already. I moved to the big city, kind of, and there are so many burkas. Very scary for a aspie like myself.
It's a one-roomer, but all of my stuff somehow managed to fit. There's clothes all over the floor, because sorting that shit out is so damn boring. Meh. There's also a pile of boxes in a corner. What I don't like is that it's on the first floor, and the wndows are huge so everybody can just see everything I do. And it's easy for people to just jump in a window if they wish. Worst. Paranoia is a natural thing for me.

Anyway, I recieved comments on that I should give up on the christmas flash. I really don't want to give up on it. Besides, I recently got a very nice skilled guy to code the damn thing. What he did in three days has been three months of work for the previous attempters. I'm so stunned by the results that I don't know what to think. I've been so exhausted from actually doing things that I've not been able to look at it much. Huff. I should get a grip on myself. When not sorting things out, I've been playing on my Nintendo 64. Damn Paper Mario.

Anyway, the new About page finally works! It shoulda been rewritten ages ago, but at least it is done now? Yay? If there's something not making sense, do put a comment. I'll try to word it better, or something.

Had a pretty nice birthday. Nothing to really write about, so I'm just gonna get to the progress updates and such.

I've reached and passed the 50% mark on lipsync progress. Almost done with Jo's voicelines, now.

I got caught up in making something I wanted to do for a while, so I'm a bit late. I wanted to post this yesterday, but well... Too late now. What I made is... Well, an extended ending for Rock n' Raz 9. When I was making it, I couldn't find a voice clip I wanted to use, so the ending was quite abrupt because of the joked I planned to end on had to be cut. But I recently found it, so I went back and added it back in. Here's the result, why don't you let me know what you think? If you even remember how the previous version ended...

Since the youtube guys are massive pansies, I've uploaded the extended ending to MEGA for the time being, until I can find a better solution.

I also was working on some drawings, but one of them I had so much trouble with it kinda threw me off course quite badly. I just wound up working on a bunch of whatever instead. Mostly video editing and some stuff like that... I really should get back to it though. I just kinda lost motivation there for a while. At least the first part turned out decent.
Fight for the Father, a Sixten centric drawing for once. It's gonna have three parts, but I got stuck on the second one. Blegh.
