Is this the first birthing image you've posted? I don't seem to recall any others. Maybe my memory is just failing me, haha!
The birthing I had animated for Project X a few years ago, was so poorly received, that my current project has an option to disable it, so it's off by default. :S
Yes, it's probably the first time I did birthing. I assume it was poorly received because it's not really something most people are into. I guess you have to make sure beforehand that people know what they get into for niche things like that.
The whole underlying theme of Project X is pregnancy, so the negative reception was quite unexpected.
My upcoming RPG contains pregnancy simulation (like Violated Heroine), and that part can't be turned off, only the birthing scenes.
I only recall some sort of ghost birthing in Project X, and I don't think that's the same kind of deal as the usual thing, so that might've set off people too.
Simulation, eh?
Yeah, my RPG has 640x480 graphics, with only 16 colors, to make it faithful to classic PC-9801 and MS-DOS hentai. The music will sound very Sega Genesis-y (Mega Drive in Europe, of course).
The gameplay is like those old tile-based 3D dungeon crawlers (but with hand-drawn art), and the combat plays a LOT like Nintendo's Punch Out.
The sex simulation has a butt-load of character stats, tracking the heroine's purity, mental status, corruption, menstrual cycle, how much sex she's had, and what kind.
For example, if she's raped my a monster, it'll raise her stress, lower purity, increase corruption, and leave that monster's semen inside her.
The game's engine tracks sexual partners for 3 days, eventually overwriting the oldest entries. (ID, Race, Potency, Virility)
The game performs a pregnancy check, at midnight of every day, and anybody the heroine's had sex with, in the last 72 hours, is capable of impregnating her. (Party Members, NPCs, Monsters, etc.)
To keep the simulation more interesting, there's actually no fertilization cut-in for this game! Though, you can easily see if she's pregnant, by opening the status menu.
The heroine will have dialogue as she notices the changes in her body, so even if the player never notices that she's pregnant, she certainly will! :P
All that's fine and dandy, but can you do an anal only run?
You absolutely can!
We've designed the game's stat system to allow for players to shape each character's preferences, after their own.
2 of the 6 playable characters, have a preference for anal sex, right from the start. (Even when being raped, if their charisma stat is high enough, they can avoid vaginal sex, altogether.)
The other 4 would require some stat manipulation, by leveling up, a bunch.
