One of the things that makes Rock candy a great artist is that he actually feels for his characters. They arent just random drawing,they have personalities and he takes these things into consideration. Zu is a girl with a learning disability who gets raped by her classmates and is too scared to tell anyone. Rock candy is just exposing the atrocities of society. For as much as we would like to deny it, these things happen.
