so I've tried everything ranging from the EXE to the browser to other browsers and even the phone... and the game doesn't run. the EXE hard crashes on startup with the error message whited out, and the browser gave me an error message I can't do much with. Any suggestions?

Works for me. Maybe you dont have Java installed or activated?

Same errors as before, even after a reload and reinstall of Java. It's sounding like either my computer can't run anything, or something else needs help.

Wait. Why is the Error message talking about Dropbox?
What has Dropbox to do with running the Game?
You download the Zip File and unpack it into a new Folder. Then just run the .EXE.
