As a current unity developer that used to do flash I can tell you the two are superficially alike but actually very different.
Flash is essentially a vector drawing program with animation and scripting support where as unity is a scripting and animation environment with no internal support for creating art.
In particular the thing you'll miss most is Flash's ability to generate animations from drawings based on keyframes. Unity has an animation system but it's built around manipulating objects and not graphics like flash is. Which means you'll either have to pregenerate all the images for your game cartoon style or else work with 3D models and the like.
Either way it's definitively a completely different thing and one that Flash skills won't really translate to.

Ye, that's what I suspected. As far as I know, there's no real replacement for what you can do in Flash.
