It lags terribly for me, and I don't know why. GPU is a GTX770, and CPU is an i5 3570K. Dunno if those are relevant, come to think of it, but that's what I'm asking -- what variables affect whether or not a flash animation lags?

Try lowering the quality. It's probably the size and all the movement that does it. All the moving dots, etc.

Try using Chrome, it only lags in firefox for me and if you want to use firefox and view without lag hit the "download" button, then it should stop lagging in firefox( it does for me atleast)
