From sickness and what not. Being sick directly after a trip really threw me off my game. Feels like I lost all of my drawing experience and I'm starting over from zero. Also been struggling with giving Zu new facial expressions in her new refs. Very frustrating.

Here's what I got currently, outside of the facial expressions, I think they're pretty much done.

I was also toying with the idea of adding some character attribute ratings to perhaps help with getting a good grasp of them. But it has also been quite difficult, with deciding what categories to include and what each term actually represents... Here's my first draft of them, I'm not sure if it is a good idea or not. But if it seems interesting, I'm all for ideas on how to improve it.

Well, I shall continue to try to get myself back in the game again. Hopefully I have something more worthwhile to share next week.

How would I go to improve it?
You could change the swimsuit to be blue. go for the classic anime look.

I think you could get away with the sundress being pure white with the ribbon being black.

The winter coat would look 100% cuter if it was pink.

Just a few ideas that popped into my head after reading the comment.
Ew, I want to avoid the anime look.

I don't know if black and white really fits Zu's look. She's a sucker for bright colors, after all.

I can't really see pink, but I can try to get some help picking out something that works.

do you have an idea when a public test version might be released? i'm sure it's been a lot of work moving away from flash and i really don't mean to put pressure, but i went back to check and it's been over 14 months since the last released project and i've been a bit thirsty for your work.
Don't know yet, unfortunately. It is definitely shaping up, though.
We've mostly been focusing on the Sofi part, the Zu&Jo part has only barebones coding. I think Zara's part is also mostly the same as before.

Are you planning on releasing any beta versions of the project before its finished on this site? I basically found out about your work through an early flash prototype of a scene with Ellie on swfchan that was amazing. Unless your its not feasible to do so with the new program your using to make the game I think it would help garner alot more interest in the project.
Yes, I will. We're just having a lot to do; making sure everything works correctly is a lot of trial and error and re-coding and looking up guides on the web. There are many graphical glitches and quirks, everything you take for granted in flash, Fallow basically has to code from scratch into the porting process. Along new fancy additions to Sofi's part, it's a lot of work, bug testing and whatnot.

Oh, and... Current RC.se doesn't allow for html5 embedding, so it's probably gonna have to be a downloadable thing until the new version of the site is ready to launch.
Adobe Flash still works perfectly fine with browsers that still support it, including Microsoft Edge when the site is loaded in Internet Explorer Mode.
That doesn't matter; the project doesn't run at all in flash anymore.

To be honest im kind of glad your moving on from flash. Despite having a gaming pc both Zoophobia and Ellie's Exorbitant Extrication ran at a blistering 11 fps, even in a stand alone flash player. I feel like your ambitions have completely outgrown the software.
